Yeah they probably weren't too happy when we bombed a school yard with AI targeting that killed 156 children and adults. There will ALWAYS be collateral casualties in war. That sucks for sure. I think about the people who planned and executed that strike. They have to live with that mistake. I mean, really people, think about it like this. It's the 2020 protests, Joe biden has started killing civilians and repressing freedom of speech and movement to the level of the ayatollah, and now Russia and China are indiscriminately bombing civilian targets and economic chokepoints that hurt YOU and YOUR family, are you going to want the chinese and russians to come and take over after joe is gone? Or are you going to be looking towards whoever killed your family or compatriots with the same hatred that you hold for your current government? The Iranians have emotions and hatred much like the rest of the world, and a fight for sovereignty and their right to exist as they see it will take precedent over them somehow being happy they are being bombed. I mean we have yet to see any kind of Iranian resistance other than what was already minutely present in Balochistan, Up to 40,000 dead I wouldn't call "minutely present." they aren't dissatisfied with their government to start a civil war, so to broadly say the Iranian's support the bombing campaign is a misnomer IMHO. Iran is a diverse and large diaspora of ethnic groups that all have their own ties and loyalties (and disloyalties) to the Iranian regime, generalizing it only does more harm to discussion than good.
