It’s ironic when Lincoln shut down newspapers during the civil war he did so under the war powers act.
So are we saying here any social media platform should be shut down and owners arrested under the war powers act.

That’s all well and good as long as the gov is using its coercive force to shutter something you believe should be silenced.
What happens when the gov uses that force to go after someone or outlet you support and believe

Not to mention all of those that have had suspicious ties to Russian oligarches in the past, are now somehow ramming against Zelensky, and also holding high positions and favour within our current US Administration. Very strange, isn't it? The pieces are starting to fall in place and it will only become more clear how compromised our goverment really is, and not only to Russia, Iran, Israel, etc, but compromised to ourselves because of our total destruction of the rule of law.
This is boarder line conspiracy theory.
But again if this outrage is about anything besides just a domestic political dispute.

will the US and NATO doing the same thing they’ve done for four and a half years bring about a conclusion to the war that Ukraine and NATO claims to want.

And if we don’t see this as happening exactly how long and how far is this war and support for this war to continue?

Now if you support NATO becoming activity engaged in the conflict “boots on the ground and planes in the air” I join with you. But again silence.

As far as official in this current governments suspicion ties to Russian.
Have we forgotten the uranium one deal and speaking fees for ex presidents.
Or are we still listening to in a Russian collusion story that was never proven or supported

This is a good start:
It's not always cut and dry what is true and what is wrong, I'm just offering some information that is worthy of discussion, if you are willing to have an open mind to the possibility of our government officials not being as honest as they say they are.

Six months after leaving the White House, Jared Kushner secured a $2 billion investment from a fund led by the Saudi crown prince, a close ally during the Trump administration, despite objections from the fund’s advisers about the merits of the deal.
A panel that screens investments for the main Saudi sovereign wealth fund cited concerns about the proposed deal with Mr. Kushner’s newly formed private equity firm, Affinity Partners, previously undisclosed documents show.
Those objections included: “the inexperience of the Affinity Fund management”; the possibility that the kingdom would be responsible for “the bulk of the investment and risk”; due diligence on the fledgling firm’s operations that found them “unsatisfactory in all aspects”; a proposed asset management fee that “seems excessive”; and “public relations risks” from Mr. Kushner’s prior role as a senior adviser to his father-in-law, former President Donald J. Trump, according to minutes of the panel’s meeting last June 30.
But days later the full board of the $620 billion Public Investment Fund — led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia’s de facto ruler and a beneficiary of Mr. Kushner’s support when he worked as a White House adviser — overruled the panel.

Ethics experts say that such a deal creates the appearance of potential payback for Mr. Kushner’s actions in the White House — or of a bid for future favor if Mr. Trump seeks and wins another presidential term in 2024.
Mr. Kushner played a leading role inside the Trump administration defending Crown Prince Mohammed after U.S. intelligence agencies concluded that he had approved the 2018 killing and dismemberment of Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi columnist for The Washington Post and resident of Virginia who had criticized the kingdom’s rulers.

ISCAR

The largest Israeli supplier was ISCAR, a metalworking tools manufacturer that is part of the U.S.-based multinational IMC Group (International Metalworking Companies). The company operates in Russia through three subsidiaries: Iskar LLC, Tegotek Rus LLC, and Tungaloy Rus LLC.

Despite most of these subsidiaries being inactive on paper (except for Tungaloy Rus),
ISCAR supplied more than $4 million worth of tools to Russia in 2024, the report says.

And it's like you have said numerous times, we live in a uni-party state that is slowly tearing itself apart. At the end of the day it's just business, right?

Ah the Manifort saga. Yes the Trump campaign hired then fired manifort.
The time period you site 2010-2014 manifort was working with and acting for pro Russian interest in Ukraine.
Ironically almost inexplicably manifort was working with Tony and John podesta. You know John podesta, Clinton’s campaign manager.
So sure manifort had ties to Ukraine prior to going to work for Trump campaign. During that time he was working with pro Russian interest in ukrain he was working with democratic interest namely the Podesta’s.

As far as the “appearance” Of improprieties regarding Kushner or Don Jr..
First of all it’s all appearance of something.
Perhaps if more people cared about the appearance of improprieties regarding hunter biden. You know videos of having sex with a Chinese prostitute and doing crack.
If the measure of concern and outrage were the same then maybe I might care.

Every American. Listen here and now. Take this to the midterm elections (& BEYOND) right or left:

I've said it often, "take your parties back".

This is how. Vote for anyone, right or left, who says (& can prove) they take no money from any corporate empire or ultra wealthy individual.

This isn't about party lines anymore. It's about taking our country back.

It's that simple.

Vote for anyone who says they won't take money from the fucking "fat cats" and actually follows through, as cheesy as that may sound.

If you need help finding out who's financially backing any candidate, let me know.

Elon Musk's X just took down more than 13,000 accounts tied to foreign influence operations from IRAN, RUSSIA, and CHINA that were targeting U.S. politics ahead of the midterms

Again if there are reasonably proven charges against the Trump family then charge then.

As far as political outrage, it would all be much more believable if it had been a political issues during previous campaigns.
Since this outrage seems to be selective I really don’t care or put much credence in it.

Again if there are reasonably proven charges against the Trump family then charge then.
Filling charges generally requires an investigation first to determine what charges apply or can be sustained in court. This could include an investigation into records, files, and data. Is your statement tacit approval to legally investigate the Trump family? 🤔

TBH I'm not a big fan of deep investigations of free speech platforms for foreign influence. To me it's the nature of the beast, and should be expected. The freedom to say and read what we want free of government oversight comes with the individual responsibility to understand and discern the meaning and truth behind what was said.

Well we’ve already had repeated and drawn out investigations why not another one. It’s in all likelihood as vacuous and unsubstantiated as the others.
Are you willing to ask why the FBI said for four years the hunter biden laptop scandal was a Russian disinformation campaign. Supported by 51 Intelligence's community and state department officials all validating it was a disinformation campaign created by Russia and supported by republicans.
Only to have it revealed it was exactly what it was.

Did 51 gov officials knowingly lie to discredit evidence of a vise presidents family profiting from the VP’s office.

When we’re ready to reopen that can of worms. Then sure investigate the Trump boys.
