The Pentagon has cleared DHS to test a military-grade “heat ray” weapon for potential deployment at the US-Mexico border to repel illegal border crossings. The “Active Denial System” unleashes an invisible electromagnetic beam capable of reaching over half a mile, heating skin to 130°F within seconds and triggering an intense burning sensation.

The only problem I have with this is there are old people, women and children trying to cross the border. Build the wall, use various surveillance but don't blast them with a heat ray! That's over the line for me.
