Well crap I’m on blood thinners, does that mean I’ll die quicker? Wait dying quickly from a Ebola would be a good thing wouldn’t it.I'm not in the medical field but I've read a few things about some of the newfangled diseases. Ebola does NOT liquefy your organs. What actually happens:
- The virus attacks the cells that line blood vessels and capillaries, making them weak and leaky.
- It disrupts the body's normal blood-clotting system, which can lead to both internal and external bleeding.
- The virus triggers a massive immune and inflammatory response that causes tissue damage.
- Because organs are robbed of proper blood flow and suffer from widespread inflammation and clotting issues, patients frequently experience multiple-organ failure (such as liver and kidney damage), which is a primary cause of death.
