A new set of Marines is now waiting as the “immediate crisis response force” in Latin America, Marine Corps officials said Friday, as the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit replaced the 22nd MEU in the Caribbean.

Roughly 1,300 Marines from the 24th MEU are now deployed to the area, Marine officials said, as part of Operation Southern Spear, the Pentagon’s ongoing mission to stem drug trafficking in the region. Let me start by saying I don’t support military intervention in Cuba, but I would 100% believe Cuba is receiving drones from someone. In fact they would be complete and utter incompetent morons to not pursue some form of one way attack drones.

As if that actually means anything. They have no credibility at this point. How can they? They lost it all flip flopping around on many many different issues but this iran situation being the clearest example. Strait open! Strait now blockaded! This can happen within 5 minutes of each other. Now I do think it is likely strategy more than simply trump insane hur durr but that doesn't really change the fact it's really not easy to tell what is true or false when it comes to what this administration is putting out there. Therefore regardless of the factual legitimacy it would be very difficult to say for certain if they are blowing smoke up our asses again or not. Truthfully to have trust in what they are saying whether you like it or not is more akin to faith than facts.
