Estonia’s Defence Forces say Spring Storm 2026 has entered its final stage, with selected units beginning live fire exercises at the central training area from May 23rd to June 1st. Latvian Public Media reports a mystery drone crashed into Lake Drīdzis in Krāslava region around 08:00 local time and detonated on contact with the water. No injuries were reported. Police, firefighters, and Latvia’s National Armed Forces are working the scene.
