⁉️ 🔊 Zelensky: Ukrainian long-range strikes hit Russian warship, vessels transporting Iran-linked cargo

Zelensky hailed a long-range operation in the Caspian Sea, claiming Ukrainian forces struck a Russian warship and vessels tied to Iran-linked military logistics.

Axios, citing two sources familiar with the decision, reports that President Donald J. Trump directed the U.S. military not to conduct strikes against Iran on Friday, ending 13 consecutive nights of U.S. attacks.According to the report, the decision came as Oman continued talks with Iran on a potential agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.

While the U.S. military remains prepared to resume or escalate operations on short notice, Trump reportedly believes pursuing a diplomatic agreement is currently the "smarter strategy."

Netanyahu planning to present Trump with intelligence on Iran’s nuclear recovery at White House meeting

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team plan to present US President Donald Trump with fresh intelligence on Iran’s military and nuclear recovery efforts during their planned meeting at the White House on Tuesday, including what Israeli officials believe are accelerated efforts under wartime-elected Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei to advance toward a nuclear weapon, Channel 12 reports.

I will instruct our intelligence to share with our partners the information we have regarding Russia’s new assistance to the Iranian regime. Since the beginning of July, we have recorded active Russian satellite surveillance of the Gulf states and U.S. military facilities located there. These images subsequently appear in Iran. At the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russia’s satellite imagery of these sites and Iranian strikes – both before the attacks, in preparation for them, and afterward, to assess the damage inflicted.

The U.S. naval blockade against Iran remains in full effect. As of July 25, CENTCOM has redirected 12 commercial vessels trying to run the blockade, disabled 2 that didn't comply, and boarded 2 to ensure total compliance.Earlier today, U.S. forces completed a verification boarding aboard Comoros-flagged M/T Charminar in the Arabian Sea, and the tanker is now continuing its journey.

Trump Holds Off on Major Escalation Against Iran as Advisers Raise Concerns

President Trump has set aside, at least for now, plans to sharply escalate the American military assault against Iran, with particular concern that intensifying the war could dangerously drain the Pentagon’s already diminished stockpile of Patriot antimissile interceptors and other air defense munitions in the Middle East.

The threat to interceptor stockpiles is one of many considerations that has made a return to major combat operations a hugely risky endeavor, administration officials say. Mr. Trump and his top aides are also uneasy about the prospect of a widening war in the Middle East, the alienation of key Gulf allies who are vulnerable to Iranian attack, a global economic crunch, and growing energy and refugee crises.

The latest turn in Mr. Trump’s handling of the conflict with Iran came after a meeting on Friday with top advisers and senior members of his cabinet, according to two people briefed on the discussion.

The private deliberations have focused on the Pentagon’s shrinking inventory of Patriot interceptors and other air defenses, the officials said, discussing operational matters on the condition of anonymity. Three U.S. soldiers in Jordan were killed last Friday when a ballistic missile slipped through American air defenses fending off a barrage of Iranian missiles and drones, a senior U.S. official said.

I wonder if the US will take the bait. Ukraine is hoping that if Russia is helping Iran, the US will start helping Ukraine.
