Report of a maritime incident northeast of Qalhat, Oman. Tanker captain reported the vessel was struck by a projectile in the engine room. All crew members of the tanker targeted off the coast of Oman are safe, and no environmental damage has been reported.

The UAE says two of its tankers were hit by Iranian cruise missiles in Omani waters near the Strait of Hormuz, killing one Indian crew member and wounding eight others. Abu Dhabi says it reserves the right to respond.

Houthis: Saudi airport targeted in retaliation for strikes on Sanaa airport
Yemen’s Houthis say they struck Saudi Arabia’s Abha airport with missiles and drones in retaliation for a strike on Sanaa’s international airport. The Yemeni government said it carried out the Sanaa strike, while the Houthis blamed Saudi Arabia and warned airlines to avoid Saudi airspace.
Iranian authorities report 3 Basij personnel were killed in Monday’s U.S. attack on Abadan, while 4 people were injured in Omidiyeh during an overnight U.S. strike. The Omidiyeh casualty count remains preliminary.
Kan reports the U.S. paused the removal of U.S. Air Force tanker aircraft from Ben Gurion Airport. Israel’s Airports Authority estimates roughly 50,000 July airline tickets could be canceled if their removal does not resume.
Iran submitted a formal letter to the UN secretary general and Security Council president alleging Washington breached the Islamabad memorandum, and requested immediate Security Council action to halt further attacks and ensure accountability.
