Trump says US is hitting Iran 'very heavy tonight'.
Iran is launching missile attacks on U.S. bases in the region.
Report of a maritime incident northeast of Qalhat, Oman. Tanker captain reported the vessel was struck by a projectile in the engine room. All crew members of the tanker targeted off the coast of Oman are safe, and no environmental damage has been reported.

The UAE says two of its tankers were hit by Iranian cruise missiles in Omani waters near the Strait of Hormuz, killing one Indian crew member and wounding eight others. Abu Dhabi says it reserves the right to respond.
