🗣️ | Middle East War | Full Scale War Still Seems Imminent as Deterrence Erodes & Brinkmanship Intensifies | ANALYSIS & DISCUSSION

Dont know if this thread is still being used but this is a pretty good laymans video to the situation in Iraq, missing a lot of nuance and I'm not the biggest fan of the video creator but he does present the basic situation pretty well.

I am going to wait to see eyewitness reports of US bombers landing stateside before drawing any conclusions about the reports of withdrawal. Same with the equipment and personal in Iraq and other areas of the middle east.

Well, this is interesting
US has given Israel the green light and lifted operational restrictions on Israeli Air Force operations over Iraqi airspace, shortly after the US completed its military withdrawal from Iraq – Erem News
According to reports, this could give Israel greater freedom to target Iran-backed armed groups across the region. Israeli planning is reportedly focused on disrupting the land corridor linking Tehran to Beirut through Iraq, known as the 'Shia Crescent' The route is reportedly used by the IRGC to transfer advanced weapons, ballistic missiles and long-range drones to its allies in the region.
What reports and how does the author know what Israeli planning is! Plus, I don't think Turkey is going to go for it. Guess we'll see if Isreal starts running sorties inside Iraq.

For 47 years Tehran let its proxies bleed for its ambitions, and now that the ring of fire has collapsed, a regime with no one left to fight for it must decide whether to stand alone or stand down.
The Huthis are still there. Or however they are spelled.

The Pentagon has told U.S. Central Command to finish preparations for the potential resumption of large-scale combat operations against Iran, according to Axios, citing U.S. officials. Per the report, such an operation, which would be a joint operation with Israel, could take place before both the Israeli elections and the U.S. midterm elections. This comes following the meeting of U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s National Security Team at Camp David last week.

One of these things, is not like the other...
One of these things just doesn't belong...

An unprecedented shift in public opinion

Polling organizations (such as Gallup and Pew Research) confirm a historic paradigm shift among American voters:
• A reversal of sympathies: For the first time in 25 years of tracking, recent polls show that a plurality of Americans now sympathize more with the Palestinians (41%) than with the Israelis (36%). Among young people aged 18 to 34, support for the Palestinians reaches as high as 53%.
• Loss of confidence: Nearly 60% of American adults hold an unfavorable view of Israel and lack confidence in its Prime Minister. Furthermore, 55% of respondents believe that Washington provides too much military aid to Tel Aviv.
