Build more nuclear plants!
I'm not biased towards nuclear whatsoever *cough cough*
Plenty of renewable sources propping up. Especially in the rural community. The rual communities are going through the fastest transition to renewable energy sources as a matter of fact.Peak demands are met by natural gas generators which is much better then coal or oil a billion times over. Renewables meet normal demand. Natural gas powers the peak demand.
In this model we are entirely self sufficient and will down the line not need foreign energy at all to "turn the lights on".
How can anyone be against losing our dependency on foreign energy??????????? Going green or renewable backed by gas power to meet peak demand means we will never need another country to depend on our energy!!!!!

Renewables and clean gas energy means never ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, depending on another country to turn on the lights ever. EVEN WHEN THE LIMITED SUPPLY OF FOSSIL FUELS RUNS OUT.
Sure I'll give you that how DEMS go about it is fucking dumb as all hell. More then that, just plain suicidal sometimes... DEMS botched the whole renewable energy plans to make America self sufficient on energy and even from fossil fuels as fossil fuels are LIMITED.
But their not wrong. Their just wrong how they go about it. We need to become self sufficient, but only way for the long term is renewables & nuclear energy. It can't be done all at once as the DEMS have found out because of their own dumbass policies. But regardless needs to happen, at least overtime.

This offers opportunities and a local Australian company has jumped at it and is now building high power EV charging stations that are now being sold world wide, even to the USA.
Not really a personal attack but more of a personal view or opinion. If you think being self-sufficient from foreign energy is bad then I think you're not that smart. Renewables with nationally produced natural gas is the answer to this problem. If you think fossil fuels are self-sufficient I can't talk to you anymore. Because you're not even open to the idea of going beyond fossil fuels which are LIMITED in nature!!!
Look the Democrats f***** up big time very big time. Just because they botched the idea of being self-sufficient on Renewables doesn't mean it is wrong.
It has to happen and it is the only way. But again it can't happen overnight as the Democrats found out through their own dumbass policies. It has to happen over time.
But the only way to be truly self-sufficient for the foreseeable future is renewables, nuclear, and natural or bio waste engineered gas from landfill recapturing systems.
