Just caught a SKY KING DNA from ATTACK. Short string authentication message.

So what do you think the nature of this is? Routine or otherwise?

Seems to be another transmission coming in. Seems un-audible, and might be in a foreign language. I am also hearing a lot of weird clicking and growling noises...Possible due to jamming?

It may be a pain but I would bring up websdr overseas on 11175 and bring up websdr mich USA on 8992 that way you could compare the two and maybe hear more

I'm going to assume the pain comes from having two sources at once rather than the action of pulling up two sources?

This was what all the radio traffic yesterday on 8992 and 11175 was about so looks like my best guess was right we where hearing the play by play of this mission being set up and playing out this would be why I was hearing stuff about C130 yesterday

Anything on the radio as of 10:32 CST? Had a high altitude formation(4 in a modified V, 3 and 1) heading north from my location, (Wichita, KS). I could not hear them so I knew they are fairly high, moving at a pretty good clip, faster then a standard passenger jet.

I've been hearing a LOT of weird acoustic effects on 8992- currently it sounds like some kind of electronic bubble fart sounds. What kind of aircraft- direction of travel?

I'm hearing weird acoustics as well. I've had to switch to 11175 because of the noise. 11175 is clear right now.

UPDATE: 8992 is now clear.

Fixed wing, hard to compare size at that altitude, looked like C17 size could not visually identify. Travelling North, my location is in Wichita, KS.

Ok good I had a lot of echo and it really sounded like a 3x or 4x call with echo on it so was hoping it was just a 2x call and not something big going on

Yeah, if I heard a 4x SKYKING during my free time at my school, I think I might be freaking out (whether or not I'd scream, "Everybody get down!" is another story entirely).
