You know for a while now I've been hammering the US administration for not finishing the iran war with ground troops. Military doctrine says you can't win a war with air power or a blockade alone. You have to take and hold ground. That is what the USMC has taught me.
Well, I happened to see an opinion piece on the bird the other day that said this,
and the more I think about the more it makes sense to me.
What would the adversaries of the US LIKE to see happen. The US gets bogged down in a meat grinder ground war similar to Iraq and Afghanistan but the US administration refuses to do it. The more I think about it I believe this is the right policy. The US is going to have to marshal its entire strength to confront the dragon if they get adventures in the far east.
As it is the reports are that the US has depleted allot of its missile inventories. Especially the interceptors. The pentagon denies this and says they have enough. Personally, I do believe the inventories HAVE been depleted but not to the extent the legacy media is reporting. The generals in the pentagon are not stupid as much as some people think they are.
Right now, the US is ramping up war production, and I just pray that if there is a power shift in the coming elections budgets don't get cut. Congress has the power of the purse. I do believe in "Peace Through Strength."
