Considering what this site is mainly about, it would be nice to have a section exclusively for the discussion of nuclear topics such as war and weapons. What do you think about this idea?

We already have that? It's called the "General" Subsection.

"Nuclear topics" is a very imprecise statement, since it lumps together unrelated areas - nuclear weapons, nuclear energy, natural radiation, radiological incidents, etc. I think it would be better to keep those separated.

I'm fine with entertaining some suggestions, but we do have to be careful of creating a ton of forums. It's impossible for me to moderate all of them now as it is.

I still think we need separate subsections for South America and North America.

When we split the military/Geopolitical subsection into sub-subsections based on regions, I sorted everything out, I’m fine going through the North America & World subsection and moving all South America related threads into a new South America subsection, the same way I handled the military/Geopolitical split.

I would be okay with that, but again, I want to avoid creating so many region-specific forums that it actually makes it more difficult to manage and moderate. And Military regions should match Geopolitics regions.

South America is just a temporary blip. No need to split it off into its own subsection.

Then can we just rename current "North American" subsection to just "America's".

Because posting South American content in the "North America" subsection makes no sense. If anything South American contents should just go in the "world" subsection then.

But renaming the subsection to just "America's" is a Win win. No new subsections and now it includes South America too onto of North America by simply calling it "America's". Insinuating clearly both North and South.

That was pretty much going to be an automatic. The military and geopolitical subsections should always match each other.
