Anglo-US Relations at All-Time Low Over Falkland Islands

This is perhaps the most inflammatory thing the US could say. It's like someone suggesting Alaska should be handed over to Russia.
 
Did I miss something? There was nothing in the article which quoted the Pentagon report saying the US was reconsidering its position on the Falklands. (That was a mouthful.)

I guess there was something in it since it provoked such a reaction from the UK.

I'm on the UK's side on this, especially since the people of the Falklands want to remain British.
 
LONDON, April 24 - The United States could seek to punish Britain for its lack of support on the Iran war by reviewing its position on London's claim to the Falkland Islands, an internal Pentagon email described to Reuters by a U.S. official states.

The proposal on the remote British-ruled archipelago in the South Atlantic is among a range of options being considered by President Donald Trump's administration to pressure NATO allies it believes failed to support U.S. military operations in the war with Iran.

China and Russia and any enemies of the USA must be rejoicing at the job well done by the US leadership!!!

Nato is about defense of a member,

If Trump had only did a false flag an attack on the USA, he would been able to use all his play toys to play war with.
