Another Unexplained Explosion in US Related To Infrastructure

ST. VINCENT, MINNESOTA (KFGO-AM) -- A transCanada natural gas pipeline exploded Saturday night in northwestern Minnesota's Kittson County. Witnesses reported hearing loud rumbling noises several miles away.  The explosion could be seen from 7 miles away.

The rupture happened at the St. Vincent Compressor Station. TransCanada workers shut down the valve and allowed the gas to burn off.  The cause of the rupture is under investigation.

The Emerson, Manitoba fire department says at least two homes were briefly evacuated on the Canadian side.

TransCanada said that the pipeline provides natural gas to several communities in the area and there were no gas service interruptions.

First in Houston, then California, now the TransCanada pipeline explosion. Don't know if connected, but we need to beef up security just in case. I doubt we would be told, even if every inch of that pipeline was monitored, truly what happened.

But something to keep your eye on. The FBI has released official intel that indicate an heightened alert regarding infrastructure attacks.

This is scary. Literally I think striking the US infastructture could cause more havoc than anything.


If a terrorist plots a attack with bombs under the huge electrical pylons coming from the power plants.... MILLIONS will be out of power. Our electrical grid will be attacked by terrorists, eventually it will.

No I'm not giving ideas. I'm giving the truth.

Truth is... our infastructture is extremely vulnerable by physical attacks. And we need to fix that.
