Hospital spokesperson tells Reuters Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was conscious when he arrived, treated for gunshot wounds and "life functions were stabilised". Now being transferred to larger hospital.

Slovak media reported that the attacker was a former employee of a private security company and author of a poetry collection Juraj Cintula. This is reported by local TV channel Markiza.

In 2016, Cintula himself survived an assassination attempt when he was attacked in a shopping center in the town of Levice by a young man who was in an inebriated state.

Due with the assassination attempt on Fico, of course, conspiracy theories arise. About that Europe is gradually being drawn into a big war, while it does not want to, it resists, but overtime getting used to the idea that it will have to go war.

Perhaps you have noticed that problems fall down upon all national leaders who are not in a military/sanctions frenzy, but pursue a flexible, pragmatic policy, want to become mediators in resolving conflicts and get preferences for their countries in this regard.

Imran Khan was the first to fall under attack. The popular Pakistani leader managed to come to an agreement with India, China, and Russia, and promoted mutually beneficial cooperation. They overthrew him, tried to shoot him, and now he and his wife received a huge sentence for no reason. Cunning Erdogan, who partners with everyone and benefits from everything, says that they tried to overthrow him again. The heir to the Arabian throne, Mohammed bin Salman, manages to negotiate with Israel and Iran, the West, and Syria. There is a lot of talk about an assassination attempt, maybe real, maybe not. Shinzo Abe, who sought detente in the Pacific region, was assassinated in 2022.
As you can see, now being a subtle diplomat and peacemaker is completely unprofitable and even dangerous. Both at the worldwide and national level.

Only the warmongering, bloodthirsty freaks in power are to be tolerated.

The message is clear - we're full steam ahead for a global war.

I agree with the concept. Furthermore, I think that with Russia gradually winning, things in Europe (and US of course) will get worse: the sense to be superior, the sense to can easily win a war against an ennemy basically dumb, are going to be replaced by the anger to be losing. And this anger, unable to be vented against the ennemy which is able to defend itself, will be hurled against all the harmless people "suspected" to be prorussian. IMO, considered that our western societies are basically fearlul (US included) and that is very very difficult that some nation will actually find the courage to join the war, all the anger inherent our queer faint-hearted society will be fired inside. So, I think that such acts could increase.
