Video released by Bulgarian maritime outlet http://Maritime.bg shows a sea drone approaching the Liberian flagged container ship 'Contship Jet' in the western Black Sea before it was struck.Bulgaria’s defense minister said three maritime drones hit the ship around midday yesterday approximately 20 nautical miles off Bulgaria’s coast near Cape Kaliakra, in its exclusive economic zone. The ship was sailing from Israel to Constanța, Romania.

Bulgarian media reports the ship sank around midnight, and more than 20 containers with hazardous materials drifted at sea. No one has been officially blamed for this attack but appears to be part of Russia's escalating pattern against commercial vessels in the western Black Sea.
