Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday that he tested positive for COVID-19 just days after meeting with President Biden in Los Angeles for the Summit of the Americas.

The new variants have no long incubation period.
Vaccine doesn't prevent an infection with Omicron BA.4 and 5 and a therapy with monoclonal antibodies doesn't help either.
The best idea is probably a total blood exchange with juvenile blood from patients that has developed natural immunity and to take viral inhibitors preventivly as long as the infection lasts.

This is the THIRD time our Prime Minister has contracted CoVid. LOL. Perhaps he needs to be more concerned with dealing with issues at home. Then again, with rising infection rates in Canada, maybe he caught it here before he went to see Biden.

Or in my sort of job, the risk is high of catching all sort of things just due to the number of people I have to deal with in a closed room. I still use a mask and put restrictions on who I will see to prevent infection. Use telehealth. Perhaps pollies need to take a similar approach.
