Catastrophic Failure: 12 Story Building Collapses Like Pancakes-(Miami, FL) | 2021, June 24th

I would be really nervous and asking a lot of questions if I lived in one of those other high rise condos along that barrier island

There still is after 25 hours no other survivors pulled from the rubble. We still stand at 99 missing, families are receiving counseling to expect the worse but of course keep hope....

Nothing at all has changed in almost 40 hours orher than how many are missing.

No dead, no survivors, no news at all since the very early morning....

Looks like original assessments are right. This will be a high casualty event and any survivors chance of survival is next to zero going on the third night tonight.....

This isn't official just my view of it with some facts thrown in. Not a single person has been pulled out alive in the past closing 50 hours. So I will stop closely following this and giving updates anymore as they come out.

This story has run a end and will only get more tragically sad,.. don't expect miracles.

They should now switch to the investigation phase and only to body retrieval not rescues.

The demolition of what's left of Champlain Towers South, the partially collapsed condo building in Surfside, Florida, will take place between 10 p.m. Sunday and 3 a.m. ET Monday, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava said in a news conference.

No they will be laying a heavy duty tarp over original rubble so they can quickly remove any possible junk quick and resume search efforts more safely and quickly without worrying about a building falling on you.
Hoping that none of the junk squashes anyone?

So I guess it is a controlled demolition that is not intended to land on the original collapse.

If anyone cares... the Feds have finally made a verdict on how and why the tower collapsed in Miami that killed over 90 people in 2021:
