China has been in the saudi market along time now. Military trade aswell. China also has ample ability to pay debt aswell.
So not sure why you think this has anything to do with china?

I did a quick dive on this. This fighter is a joint venture with Pakistan. And this deal is being leveraged in a manner to aid Pakistan with debt repayment maturity repayment to China.
There are several nations who have maturing loans with China this year.

It does not seem to be a systemic liquidity issue with China.
The majority of Chinas debt and loan risk still reside domestically and they are still significant.

China is currently cashing in globally and massing huge amounts of oil,gas,food,gold, and resources in general due to western actions and rehtoric they are simply preparing for worst case scenario. You know like we say here if we think a major disaster is coming. Prep.
