The Pentagon has told a second aircraft carrier strike group to prepare to deploy to the Middle East as the U.S. military readies for a potential attack on Iran, according to three U.S. officials.

President Trump said Tuesday that he was weighing sending a second carrier to the Middle East to prepare for military action if negotiations with Iran failed. The order to deploy could be issued in a matter of hours, one of the officials said.

IAEA DG Rafael Grossi says Iran’s declared roughly 400 kg of uranium enriched to just above 60% is believed to remain buried under bombed underground sites at Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan. He warns the stockpile could theoretically be enough for a few, maybe up to a dozen nuclear devices if further enriched, but inspectors have been blocked for months and the agency cannot confirm without physical access.

NOTE:
This is an assessment, not verified inventory. Tehran says the material is under rubble, without on site inspection, the IAEA cannot fully rule out diversion or unknown recovery efforts.

Israel increase defense readiness in localities. IDF completes exercise in the Golan Heights. The forces of the Golan Brigade (474), under the command of Division 210, completed a brigade exercise last week in the southern Golan Heights as part of a series of exercises to increase defense readiness in the communities. As part of the exercises, the brigade's regular and reserve forces practiced responding to extreme scenarios, evacuating the wounded, and practiced combat scenarios in outposts and in built-up areas. The exercises were carried out in the communities of Meyzer and Afiq, in cooperation with the authorities, the IDF's command centers, and the fighters of the defense departments in the communities.
