Russia has threatened countries supplying arms to Ukraine with retaliation, though did not specify what that retaliation would be. Most analists believe the threat to be nuclear. Notwithstanding, NATO says it is ready to continue backing Ukraine's war against Russia for years. Additionally, the United States us reported to have helped Ukraine target Russian assets. The U.S. has denied this claim. Israel and other countries are supplying Ukraine with higher-tech weaponry as the war with Russia drags on, with longer rage weapons now being deployed for Ukraine.
Finland and Sweden say they will officially seek NATO membership. Russia has said that NATO expansion eastward toward Russia is an unacceptabe threat and that it will respond by deploynig tactical nuclear weapons if NATO bases are established there. Britain has pledged to come to Sweden and Finland's aid if they are attcked.
The United States is beginning to harden its position against Iran and the nuclear deal. Some insiders are reporting that the deal may not be revived.
United States admits China is ahead when it comes to hypersonic technology, while work at North Korea nuclear testing site indicate a new nuclear test may be forthcoming soon.
