I haven't watched the video yet, however...having been a resident of California for many decades, I can tell you earthquakes are plentiful and not at all rare. It is literally one of the most seismically active places on the planet.
I did watch a few minutes of it and I see what he's talking about. I confirmed it by looking at the historicity of the USGS quake map. However, I do want to point out that it doesn't seem to be very unusual to me. When I lived in California I became very interested in seismic science and this just looks like part of the usual ebb and flow of earth movements. I'm not a scientist, however, I am not going to overly worry.
There's a ton of data on the USGS website. Check it out. I warn you...it's a rabbit hole. Once you start deep diving in the data it becomes addictive and fascinating.
