France recorded two overnight reactor status changes.
Saint Alban Unit 2 automatically shut down at 01:19 CEST on August 9th in accordance with its protection systems. EDF is investigating the cause and had not announced a restart. Unit 1 remains connected to the grid.
Separately, Flamanville Unit 1 reconnected at 00:30 CEST following an automatic turbine protection trip the previous evening. EDF reported no consequence for installation safety, while Units 2 & 3 continued operating.
