Russia wouldn't or at least shouldn't have two open war fronts. They can barely handle Ukraine. So therefore they would need to pack up in Ukraine before even thinking about opening a attack on Finland.Gather what is left in Ukraine to go there? C-mon he doesn't need any resources used for Ukraine.
Quite frankly Russian offensive forces have taken a real big hit. It will take sometime for Russia to lick its wounds before attacking Finalnd.

Yes the boots and equipment allocated for Ukraine has , but he doesn't need anything allocated in Ukraine. As I said his military resources in Ukraine is nothing compared to what he still has. Finland and Sweden only need a few missiles lobbed at them to stop nato alliance as the rule of conflict stops countries joining. He can also simply cut gas supplies affecting industry, heating,cooking etcetc to Europe. And right now Europe cannot source enough for itself to keep up with demand.

That’s not completely accurate yes there are wars that turn in to slugfest and seem to never progress.
But their as many or more where the battle lines are rolled up and territory changes hands remarkably fast.

I do not agree given the immediate crisis. I believe NATO nations have responded fairly well.Pretty much is worthless . Well in a few Europeans minds. And one 2 Aussies.
I agree with you that I’m the lead up they didn’t do well. But in the crisis they have.

Countries like Poland, Lithuania etc even Germany may have their doubts about nato. They sure have voiced their opinions during this crisis. And are still concerned. Imo Putin wouldn't bother with conventional attacks on nato countries anyway. Shit considering he isn't being paid for European gas supplies I'm surprised he hasn't cut them yet. Evil evil man.

What transpired in the past is irrelevant.
Russia wasn’t at risk, Russia’s aspersions to dominate more of Eurasia might have been. But that was never an existential threat to them.

All I was saying is two front wars are risky. And what he has in Ukraine doesn't leave him defenceless . I might misunderstood you. I thought you were under the impression Russia has lost most of their troops and equipment, when in reality it still has a shit load of resources both troops and equipment. Just not allocated to Ukraine. He isn't stupid. He has taken some serious losses more than expected but 7%of12% is still 12%. In other words 88% is still available. Percentages given are example purposes only. And should not be considered correct or factual.

No a two front war would be hard for the US right now. It would be dependent on the cause mobilization of the American public. And each nations cities would be front row in the fight.
