All clear. Was a simple fault. Shutdown went well. Awaiting further information from officials when they intend on turning the unit back on.
Also Unit 2 was already in a shutdown due to maintenance. So really nothing to worry about.

I think it's nothing to worry about. Even on french media (and regional one, i live in the area aroun that NPP), there is little attention about that

EDF did the article Nuclear-ID posted because they are legally forced to make public any incident
UPDATE | Golfech Reactor Unit 1 was taken off the French grid for three days after an electrical fault in a non nuclear system, then reconnected on 26 Oct, and safety procedures were followed. Unit 2 stays down for heavy inspection to extend reactor life past 40 years.

Quick information about the unit 2 stating down. It's the usual inspection happening every 10 years (regardless of life expansion)
