Guam Super Typhoon --US Military Bases Condition Unclear

It is unclear of the statuses of US military bases and assets there. US military likly had ample time to prepare so I'd assume they have evacuated any aircraft, ships, and troops that could not be secured to other bases around Asia before it neared and made landfall.

Still if the bases are damaged which I'd reckon they will be given information at hand of the intestity of this typhoon could lead to a weaker US military protection in the Pacific. Granted for a limited time. But something China could take advantage of certainly IMO. 💁‍♂️

The U.S. military also sent away ships as the storm approached. Guam is a crucial hub for U.S. forces in the Pacific, and the Department of Defense controls about a third of the island.
All ships were moved out to sea as a standard precaution, according to the Navy, and any personnel remaining on the island were sheltering in place
About 6,800 U.S. service members are assigned to Guam, according to the Pentagon.
