🇺🇸🇮🇱🇾🇪 Kan 11 reports that the U.S. informed Israel it will intensify strikes in Yemen, including against missile threats to Israel. President Biden has given the U.S. military "permissive strike authorizations" for its operations. However, the administration requests that Israel carefully examine its targets in Yemen as part of the campaign against the Houthis to ensure they are military targets and not civilian ones.

A rocket launched from northern Gaza earlier today caused damage to the Erez Border Crossing, which has served as entry for humanitarian aid to the Strip.

The IDF says the rocket impact caused damage to the crossing, and an area adjacent to an aid truck compound.

Since the start of December, over 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza via the Erez checkpoint, including food, water, medical equipment and shelter equipment, the military says..
