The only thing worth a damn in that crap hole country is there oil or their oil ports.
Suppose they could hit energy infrastructure but that would also take out temporarily their oil production as well but not destroy it at least.

I would think Lebanon is the least of everyone's concerns right now. Hezbollah has essentially been defeated and can be easily defended against like Hamas. Me personally think we (US) going to hit their water ports so they can't ship oil & Israel going to light up their nuclear facilities, especially since Iran targeted Israeli nuclear power plant.
Still a coin toss if we target Iran leadership.

Something to remember about the iron dome system it that incoming ballistic threats are assessed and if it determines the missile will land in a unpopulated area it will ignore it for ones of greater chance of striking in a populated area. So it will always be hard to judge its effectiveness just on videos like we see.

Help with Coordination. I don't see the US doing air strikes with their fighters inside Iran at the same time as Israel. Considering the closeness to an election and the general situation in the US, being involved in an actual war with Iran that Russia would very much like to see in order to distract from Ukraine wouldn't be optimal.

I think that means logistically. I would be surprised if the US fired missiles into Iran.

God I hope we grow some balls and we actually do. Refueling airplanes seems like such a cop out. I would like to see American bombs blowing up Iranian nuclear facilities instead of Israelis but I guess it is their fight.
At least where going to help.
