I say we and Israel bomb their Oil fields. Bankrupt them. It will a cut off a shit ton of funding for Iran Proxies and their Nuclear program. Use incendiaries.
That might feel good, but as @DEFCON Warning System pointed out, that would spike oil prices. The countries who consume Iranian oil would need to get it elsewhere, driving up demand for the remaining oil from those sources. That could have devastating economic impacts well beyond the middle east. My guess is that the this retaliation does not target oil fields or refineries. But, I would not count out an oil field strike in subsequent attacks if Iran responds.I say we and Israel bomb their Oil fields. Bankrupt them. It would be an ecological disaster, a very bad idea.I say we and Israel bomb their Oil fields. Bankrupt them. It will a cut off a shit ton of funding for Iran Proxies and their Nuclear program. Use incendiaries.
True but does any nation care about the environment when executing an attack? It would be an ecological disaster, a very bad idea.

I’m going with a whole number, but less than one.Any bets on how many Iranian nuclear facilities are left standing after Israel responds , far too many of those iranian salvos made it through so yea I expect some fireworks in Tehran as well
Maybe but if it’s inland it will stay in Iran as they do not have a single river. (Kinda the opposite of Melody/River SongIt would be an ecological disaster, a very bad idea.
Maybe got a little more bloodied than the last time and taking a little more to asses their response.I'm surprised Israel hasn't responded yet.
Poor guys. They literally won't know what hit them when the time comes.
The ulta-orthodox ones will, despite the recent court ruling against their having immunity from being drafed.Poor guys. They literally won't know what hit them when the time comes.
Let's say war does break out. Won't Iran's population rebel if they try to institute a draft?
No that was misinformation, Israel said it will as a fact attack Iran, but never gave a exact time other then "there time and place of choosing."I thought Isreal was supposed to respond tonight?
That is why I went to bed extremely early last night so I could be up extremely early in the morning AM hours today. I did not expect them to retaliate immediately and it turns out they didn't, I made the right choice. The IDF has it hands full at the moment. Even without the need for the IDF to backstop their hugely committed forces, I wouldn’t expect a complex air campaign of choice to be initiated, 2000km+ away the same day.
Israel has declared UN Secretary General António Guterres persona non grata and banned him from entering the country.
So please I'd love anyone to say that UN is not bias against Israel and a useless peice of trash not even worth wiping your own butt with. For context the UN Secretary General condemned Israel yesterday for attacks against it instead of condemning Iran for Iran attacking Israel.
All we can say is Iran was warned. Very clearly too. Whatever happens is a result on them and their actions in funding terrorism across the globe and against Israel for to many years now. Actions have consequences and Israel is about to remind them of that. Israel cannot alow this continue or let Iran be able to nuclear blackmail them either.I wonder if it'd be so smart of Israel to go for oil production rather than more strategic military sites and factories. A worse global economic situation because of it can bite Israel back in their ass later down the line.
