Typical Costco stuff we arent short on supplies out here and I havent seen anything strange here and I work with a grocery store. People are just panic buying over the port strikes, nothing to do with Israel. People with Costco memberships are prone to this.
I concur. Stores around here are still pretty well stocked, and people don't seem to be panic buying. I'm located in Metro Detroit for what it's worth.

Ditto here in Tampa Bay Area. No panic buying. Shelves full. Everywhere. Well the barrier islands still whacked from hurricane and will take a very long to recover... but rest of Bay Area fine. All stores stocked, no out of ordinary rushes on anything, all is normal.

In phx AZ folks are hitting Costco hard, they had no TP and were buying water 4-5 at a time, saw several folks who bought 4 & 5 cases of water and only 1-2 other items. Even had a convo with our cashier about folks panic buying.

You would think that if we learned anything at all from Covid, it's that you stockpile supplies while they're readily available so you can avoid the panic buying. Gawd, Americans are stupid sometimes.

Netanyahu kept the Americans in the dark about his secret operations in Lebanon.
Of course. JUST LIKE NOW Israel isn't going to tell the US that they are going to hit Iran nuclear and oil facilities until after the fact

Israel message was clear before Iran attacked and conveyed directly. You will lose it all if you attack "regardless how big or small".

I expect Israel to follow through with its threats. US can't stop what's coming next nor should we.

The only way to end the Iranian regime is a land invasion, I remember Iraq.
How did they end Saddam Hussein's regime? A land invasion?
Israel is incapable of doing that, only the US could.
Israel will certainly retaliate and then Iran will make another response,
this war will be long.

Not at all.

We toppled their government and decapitated all of their leaders before we sent troops in. 🙄 Was actually very quick. Your mixing the occupation with the actual war which was short lived before Iraqi government/military was essentially toppled. Days.

We talk these days that things countries have been doing for thousands of years are now impossible to do. A land invasion is 100% possible and infact even easier to do today than when we used chariots and horse cause you know we have real time navigation, motor vehicles and the like. The question is not if it is possible but would it be in Isreals best interest to do so. If their goal is to only take out Iranian capabilities and set them back then why would they need to invade? As well another thing that people have completely lost touch with is how many people actually die in real conventional war compared to recent wars of guerilla fighting. Now a days its "OMG 500 soldiers killed over a week thats huge" even west v Russia has relatively low KIA compared to wars even centuries ago.

False, please see the history of the 2nd Gulf War.

And the people welcomed us as liberators. Celebrated the toppling of their evil oppressive government. But we fucked it up trying to nation build and overstay our welcome.
You are getting off topic, that is not the point.
Go educate yourself a bit and come back to me in 6 months.

Uhhh something like that
Yes initially they did. They celebrated the toppling of their oppressive government by us. But shortly thereafter we started making the mistake of becoming occupiers and our popularity was shortly lived.

Hey, man, what's your problem exactly?
I repeat, this is not the subject.
You want me to glorify USA, you?
No discussion is possible with you, Good evening!
Well I think it's relevant because Israel might be making the same mistake with Iran. Well a similar mistake. Who knows what happens next and what power vacuum fills with if Israel succeeds in toppling the Iranian regime and the people depose the regime as well.

We have all seen the riots and protests occurring in Iran the past few years, may not take much. Usually doesn't take much with oppressive governments. 💁‍♂️

I firmly believe in destroying Iran nuclear capabilites. But a little iffy if they attempt and succeed at regime change. That changes a lot of things we have no idea where it will lead.
