In the name of God, the most gracious, the most merciful
About the meeting of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, with the leaders of the factions in Beirut
The head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, brother Mujahid Ismail Haniyeh, met with the secretaries-general of the Palestinian resistance factions, today in Beirut, where he discussed with them the developments of the situation in occupied Palestine, especially the ongoing aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque by the Zionist occupation forces and herds of settlers.
In the wake of the discussion and in-depth research of the political and field developments and their repercussions, the Mujahid Brother Ismail Haniyeh issued the following statement:
First: We salute our steadfast Palestinian people in the occupied homeland and in the refugee and diaspora camps, and we salute the martyrs of our people and our brave prisoners, stationed and in retreat in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Second: We condemn the continuous Zionist aggression against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we consider it an unprecedented crime and an aggression against our Islamic nation and its sanctities.
Third: We hold the occupation government fully responsible for the brutal aggression that is taking place against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers and seclusion in it, and we affirm that our Palestinian people and the resistance factions will not stand idly by in front of this brutal aggression.
Fourth: We call on the international community, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the League of Arab States to assume their responsibilities and take urgent action to save Jerusalem from Judaization and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from division, and to curb the occupation government and prevent it from continuing its aggression against our land, people, and sanctities.
Fifth: We call on the living forces in our Arab and Islamic nation and the free people of the world to move urgently in support of Jerusalem and Palestine and to defend and protect the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sixth: We call on all Palestinian resistance factions to unify their ranks and escalate their resistance in the face of the Zionist occupation. The priority today is to resist the occupation, and national unity and resistance are the way to achieve victory and defeat the Zionist project.
Seventh: We warn the enemy government against persisting in its aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and we consider it a threat not only to Palestine, but to all Arab and Islamic countries.
Eighth: We stress the continuation of the path of resistance and defense of Al-Aqsa Mosque by all available means, and we will not allow the occupation government to implement its plans to Judaize Jerusalem and divide Al-Aqsa Mosque.
