I believe steven hawking said AI will destroy the world and that working AI should be stopped, but i dont think he sad anything about robots.

Or it was AI are a threat to Humanity. He roasted AI, not Robots.

I think so too. It was a comment motivated by the recent achievements of Deep Neural Networks, if I remember it correctly.

My original point was that Hawking can't say anything at all. I was trying to be funny. Crashed and burned.

That's the thing! Median survival with ALS is supposted to be 5 years from point of diagnosis. Hawking has had it for decades. I have a theory that he is already dead, but noone has noticed because the machine is doing the talking.
