And you assuming that I as an American am incapable of recognizing a tragic genocidal situation without some emotional historic point of comparison to my own nations history.

As far as being an equivalent comparison your incorrect. What was done to blacks in the African slave trade years was monumentally worse that what is happening to North Koreans. They are not being hunted and shipped to a different hemisphere to suffer a life of abuse and servitude.

My issue is I suggest you broaden your use of comparisons to a broader intellectually audience. One that does not need to highlight one nations particular failures. Unless that particular nation is involved in a current issue. Rather instead assume your audience is educated enough that you do not need to make oversimplified emotional comparisons to achieve your point.
As well as likely other points.

Your right I’m being a dick about it.
That is I’m tired as an American for being used as the litmus test for societal failures. This is an issue in the US today domestically and I’m not going to let it go anymore. I suggest you broaden your boarders a bit. Americans are not stupid. We recognize genocide and oppression without grade school equivalencies.

And as I pointed out your comparison to start with is not an equivalent. Our crimes in the slave trade were much worse than NK.
Friend you're blocking yourself off in this box becuase you don't wish to read the full context of the conversation: this is why I digress now. The conversation has broken down and you have became angry and uncommunicatable. The reason I use the comparison with your culture/history is becuase psychologically it allows you to understand how we feel better; though you have became agitated with that concept becuase you can't hold your opposing viewer as an equal: you view them as lesser than you.

(NK sells NK people to other countries to do work, please read a book before speaking on something you have no idea about).
NK is a major outsourcer for work, which their people don't make much money at all from It's the government. I think History channel talks a lot about this (NKs being shipped to other countries as workes and they don't get to keep their money, they are sold on a contact and go back home right after). I wish for you to digress on the topic you haven't researched. If you wish to be the understanding I can provide doccumentation on it and articles both korean and american.

My friend I really hope we can communicate one day, but today isn't the day becuase you are work ing off of emotion and inability to consider anything foreign as equal to your own life.
