Britain is the mother country. So there is that special relationship.
Plus my wife is 87% British.
No. Tuned out as soon as it became all churchy and religious. Have other things to be doing today. Did see a photo of them placing the hat on him on one of my news feeds that was unnecessarily blown up about it. Made it hard to find news that I wanted or needed to follow/read today.
Less of a coronation and more of a photo op for the church.

And even some of us don't really care despite familial links. Paternal grandmother was Lady Wiintters while Maternal Grandfather was Sir Arthur Phillips. I am so glad my parents got away from the sloans rangers.

I loved the religious aspect to it. I never thought I'd see a change of power in a major European country do that.

I have seen all: from 8 to 14 ZULU time. From the arrival of the guests, to the royal family on the Buckingham Palace balcony, passing through the parade before and after the cerimony. It was not easy see all, but it was important: this is an historic date and maybe it could be remembered as a geopolitical watershed.
However, I wonder what does it actually means the Commonweath in case of war. I think that this point is very little deepened. Formally, the Countries of the Commowealth have as king Charles III and people are subjects of his majesty. So, in an ipotetical war against Russia, in what condition will be the Countries of the Commonwealth? For example India: India seems to be quite easygoing with Russia. What about the Commonweath if UK is at war against Russia while India is friend of Russia? It would mean the end of the Commonweath. Or maybe the Commonwealth does have means to enforce the UK decisions taken in the name of the King in all the Commonwealth?
