Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar confirms me that three blast-like sounds were reported, but the cause is still under investigation.
He requested public not to get panic.

Videos appear real. Have little to no doubt in them.
Question is what are they over? Attacking Pak jets in the sky? Local reports of explosions and police confirm it.
CONTEXT WHY I AM CONFUSED: They had drills earlier 2 hours ago now well over. Videos only 30 minutes old. Now they asking for people to cut their lights out again 2 hours later outside of scheduled drills.

- Explosion sounds have been confirmed heard around Amritsar.
- The electricity has been cut off in Amritsar by authorities.
- Loud blasts were specifically reported near the Amritsar airport area.
- Authorities have announced do not leave your homes!
- Police confirm blasts.
- Videos appear highly credible. Though unclear as to what is occurring exactly.
️️There are no more videos coming out. Either Pakistan just attacked in a limited way against India or this was a unscheduled & unannounced mock military/civilian drill in the dead of the night... which I hope it is the latter. Shaping that way

The Pakistan Air Force or military has not conducted any kinetic action over Indian airspace in Amritsar, or in any city/locality of Indian Punjab.

Quick Update: I'm still seeing cancellations being reported in Dehli though not as extensive as originally reported.
7g (our very own local source in Delhi) texted me said he was woken due to being informed/called of cancellations by others but is heading back to bed. Looks like it to be for terror attack threats & not a attack from Pakistan itself.

Pakistani sources say no attack from our side. Indian locals and journalists reported heavy missile activity in air & impacts along with video evidence. Clip of S-400 being activated and firing a missile. That leaves us to an Indian accidental fire or friendly-fire incident. (OR SNAP DRILL)

Confirmed there was indeed some type of action/incident over Pakistan a lot of eye witness and video of it. Unclear exactly what though.
Only thing pretty clear is somthing sounded like it was intercepted. You could hear it get hit then the second explosion of whatever it was hit the ground.
Waiting to see if any wreckage is claimed or is brushed off by Pakistan government. Maybe friendly fire?
Not getting to much attention surprisingly given the videos are and eyewitness reports seeminly legit.

UPDATEPunjab: After the sound of the explosion, the blackout was done in Amritsar for the whole night, the administration said this...
The blackout done at 1.30 am in Amritsar, Punjab remained in effect all night. This blackout was done after the alleged sound of the explosion was heard in the district. However, Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Bhullar clarified about the sound of the explosion, "I also heard the sound of explosions, but we went to the spot and investigated and found nothing. We blacked out as a precaution."
Under the National Civil Defense Mock Drill, a blackout was done in many major cities across the country on Tuesday. During this, Amritsar was also blacked out for half an hour from 10.30 pm to 11 pm. Later the lights were restored, but shortly after this the administration decided to blackout again. The District Public Relations Officer (DPRO) gave this information late on Wednesday night.
