Feelng better today. Thanks everyone. Think it may have been takeout I ordered. But after consuming 5 gallons of water yesterday... I flushed whatever it was out. Heh.

With vomiting and diarrhoea you have to watch out for hypokalaemia which is low potassium levels which can be deadly. Gatorade and staminade does help greatly. Use both myself as I often drop potassium levels and use these regularly. The effect after taking one when potassium is low gives an amazing wakeup effect.

Did you know that the Viet Cong used coconut water as an IV fluid in emergency cases. Apparently was very effective.

Really? I didn't know that! My late father was very into nutrition, though and swore by coconut water as opposed to Pedialyte or Gatorade.

And my late uncle would drill out an eye at the end on the coconut and put in yeast and sugar then seal it up. Would then bury it in the sand for a few days before digging up and drinking with his mates. They used to get rip roaring drunk, Ever since then I have not been able to drink coconut water.
