Middle East War | REPORTS

The Big Meeting between Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan has ENDEDThere will be no Joint Press Conference, and the details of the negotiations will remain confidential
negotiations will remain confidential Unless diplomatic leaks emerge in the coming days

  • The X post by @IranObserver0 reports the conclusion of a high-level security meeting in Tehran on October 26, 2026, involving Iran with Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir, and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, noting no joint press conference and confidential details.
  • This gathering, the first since the August 2026 Mecca Joint Defence Agreement among Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan, focused on regional security topics including Israel's actions, Palestinian and Lebanese developments, and US-Iran tensions.
  • The attached video shows the officials walking together in a formal indoor setting under Iranian state media coverage, highlighting diplomatic engagement aimed at "endogenous security" in West Asia without public outcomes announced. Grok

Iranian media is teaching citizens how to protect themselves if the US launches a nuclear attack on Iran. There is speculation that the US could use a tactical nuclear weapon against Iran's Pickaxe Mountain, as no conventional weapon can destroy facilities buried deep beneath it.
  • The X post includes a video from Iranian media dramatizing civil defense steps against nuclear attack, featuring mountain explosions, command center monitoring, individuals sheltering in basements, assembling emergency supplies, and families gathering in protected spaces with radios and water.
  • Pickaxe Mountain, also known as Kuh-e Kolang Gaz La, is a deeply buried underground complex near Natanz that Western analysts assess as resistant to conventional bunker-busters due to its geological shielding and depth exceeding 300 feet.
  • Amid US-Iran tensions, President Trump has publicly threatened strikes on the site to disrupt suspected nuclear activities, while stating explicitly that nuclear weapons are unnecessary and not under consideration for any operations against Iran. Grok
Nothing on Bing about this. Good advice though.

I am unable to verify this claim.

Doesn’t specifically mention prepping for nuke attack.
More likely, Iran could be preparing for an attack on its nuclear facilities that could cause radioactive fallout.
Then there's this:
I don't think people understand the gravity of the situation as the UN is preparing for possible nuclear weapon use in Iran. This is a picture of Tehran. For you uneducated, untraveled, never-served, warhawks licking your chops at the thought of bombing it. It's not some low population desert. There are families, children, family pets. Regular working class people with dreams. You're sick to want war. Tehran is a city of nearly 10,000,000 people. Imagine nuking Washington, Berlin, Paris, London, or beyond, bombed with nuclear weapons. I gave up my diplomatic career to leak this information. I suspended my duties so as not to be part of or a witness to this crime against humanity, in an attempt to prevent a nuclear winter before it is too late. Yesterday, nearly ten million people protested “No Kings” in the United States. The possibility of the use of nuclear weapons must be taken very seriously. It's dangerous. Act now. Spread this message worldwide. Take the streets. Protest for our humanity and future. Only the people can stop it. History will remember us.

News article regarding that statement here (paywall bypass):

However, I can't find anything directly confirming that single Twitter post regarding an Iranian PSA.

Economic Times isn't a very reliable source, but I do recall hearing this story months ago.

Economic Times exaggerates the importance, I think. The UN would have all sorts of contingencies, including nuclear use. The fact that the UN is putting one together isn't surprising.

BREAKING: WSJ: The U.S. has told several Gulf Arab countries to be prepared for a short, intense military campaign after the U.S. midterm elections.

President Trump is leaning toward a large post election attack that could target Iranian infrastructure and nuclear sites.

The communications through diplomatic and military channels are among a growing number of indications that the U.S. and Israel are readying to launch a new round of heavy combat operations against Iran, risking a major escalation in hopes of degrading Tehran’s strength and pushing it towards negotiations.

Wonder why the US is waiting until after the election. Would it really make a difference in the expected outcome?
Probably has to do with impeachment. If President Trump started a major military campaign right before the election the left side of the isle would go there and they are likely to gain power in the election. That and the fact that the price of everything is going to go up even more and the public is already feeling the pain of this conflict. IMO

We don't know that it's even the case that we're actually waiting until after the election. It's still possible that there might be a surprise this weekend....
