Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said a fire broke out in its Shuwaikh oil sector complex, which houses the oil ministry and KPC headquarters, after a drone attack, the Kuwaiti state news agency reported early on Sunday.

The USA has thousands of manned aircraft on active duty. Losing one rescue aircraft per mission in a non permissive environment sounds about right. Zero is better but just one is not bad (no crew hurt, which is the important part)
Most countries had only double digit numbers of aircraft so losing three is significant.
This is where you can see the race for drones.. countries that have no real. Air Force can now afford them one with unmanned aircraft. Even if the performance is generally low, you can just keep printing them out.

It very cleat that the two MD little birds were on one way missions and were destroyed IN PLACE along with a fixed wing aircraft prior to the US Leaving.
You do not have time to either shut down and pull blades then load under fire, nor is flying out a ~100 mph with the aircraft drogue shooting them fuel in hostile airspace. Diing that can just produce multiple downed aviator or worse casualties.
Just one WP per helicopter and the problems are taken care of. Everyone leaves at…well we leave fast, with fighter escort. The USA can throw aircraft at Iran forevery and not run out.
Again we see why the shift to drones. Its not just the cost of the drones, its the cost of a one in whatever ratio of mission to needing to police up crew at a DPP (down pilot pickup)
Anyways its a fascinating look at how each side thinks they have a treamdous victory.

New images have emerged that appear to show the destroyed special operations C-130s (MC-130Js Commando IIs) at the forward improvised airfield in Iran. The austere operating location acted as a hub (and forward arming and refueling point or FARP) for the rescue mission of the downed F-15E Weapon System Officer. You can read our latest coverage on the rescue here. It has been reported that the two C-130s were demolished in place as they were incapable of departing, with three more aircraft coming in and extracting the special operations force. CIA was deeply involved in rescue of stranded airman from Iran, White House official says. CBS, DETAILS:
The CIA was deeply involved in the mission to rescue the weapons systems officer from the downed F-15E, a senior Trump administration official told CBS News.
Prior to locating the airman, the CIA launched a deception campaign, spreading word inside Iran that U.S. forces had already found him and were moving him on the ground for exfiltration out of the country.
While the deception operation was ongoing, the agency used its capabilities to track the crew member in a mountain crevice.
The CIA shared the crew member's exact location with the Pentagon and the White House. The president ordered an immediate rescue mission, with the CIA continuing to provide real-time information.
Defense Minister Israel Katz commented at the end of a situation assessment on the rescue of the American navigator from Iran. Katz said: "I congratulate our American partners on the safe rescue of the air crew - this is another expression of the close cooperation between Israel and the US, even in the most complex moments."
