I knew you were being funny and I have not seen the sketch yet. Some of those UK English accents and "dialects" can get difficult to follow for non-UK native ears....

My favorite all time Brit show is Are You Being Served, and John Inman as Mr. Humphries remains my all-time favorite Brit character, so much so that I named a pet dog Mr. Humphries years ago. He never did respond to "Mr. Humphries, are you free?".

Its worse then that for me (Mid West American Language)

I couldn’t understand the actual sounds that, presumably, formed the words in that slang.
It might as well have been Sumatran.
