Yes, following the story. Apparently our president, who hasn't had a single word to say about Syria, has already spoken about it. I guess we know where his priorities...aren't.

The Pentagon was gonna have a press briefing about 5 minutes after the media started covering the shooting.

Sad tragedy. It's time to have armed guards on campuses I guess.

I'd support it too. We shouldn't ban the guns, but we should ban who gets them.

If that means banning me because of my autism, then so be it. No other families should ever have to suffer this tragedy.

Gun control won't work. There's too many guns already in America and certainly law abiding citizens won't give their guns up. Please tell me how many LAW ABIDING CITIZENS have done a mass killing?

That's what they're going for, this way they can prohibit everyone from owning a firearm. It's one of the many work-arounds, or 'under the radar' methods that the O-bot was talking about. So instead of one out of every 10,000 or 100,000 get rejected for mental health issues, almost everyone gets rejected. "But we're not infringing on your 2nd Amendment rights". Too bad no one else was armed except him. This would have ended a lot sooner.

Army vet Chris Mintz was shot seven times as he tried to save other students during the massacre in Oregon – yet he managed a smile in his hospital bed.

He “tried to protect some people,” his aunt Sheila Brown told NBC News. “We were told he did heroic things to protect some people.”

Mintz, 30, underwent surgery after being shot in the back, abdomen and hands, and also had two broken legs, she said.

“We’re not sure how his legs got broken,” she told the network. “He was on the wrestling team and he’s done cage-fighting so it does not surprise me that he would act heroically.”

This is what happens. A brave young man had to physically let himself get shot to save others. Also saw a report of an ARMED AF vet who was on scene but NOT ALLOWED to help. Pathetic.. This guy deserves a Freedom Medal, but Obama will probably prosecute him for obstruction of justice. Sick b********.
