My statement stands. You are talking about a different problem. There are always problems everywhere with everything. That sounds like a bad one and it needs fixing, pronto.

They most likely would have but you have extreme elements mixing in with the crowds that are intentionally causing trouble. The authorities know this and pretty much know who they are, and you will see them pick them out of the crowd and arrest them. That's why the last couple of nights it has been quieter in LA. That and the massive police and military presence on the streets. People can bitch and complain about it, but it is working and needed to be done. Being that Cal is a blue state they will most likely go in the front door and right out the back though. At least it will get them off the streets temporally.

Sorry, couldn't resist. ;) I actually agree with you, and I do have SOME sympathy for the looters. Take a walk down Rodeo Drive and check out the prices in the shops. You have to be a millionaire to shop there.

I thought we are talking about ICE detention facilities. Looters would not be going to these facilities. They would go to county LU.
Given what I’ve heard about some of the larger metropolitan LU facilities. I think I would rather go to a private detention facility.
