"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that he has told Russian President Vladimir Putin that Israeli forces will continue airstrikes in Syria if they deem it necessary. 'If there is feasibility from an intelligence and military standpoint – we attack and so it will continue,' Netanyahu said during a visit to China, adding that he had informed Putin of Israel’s intentions ... On Monday, Syrian President Bashar Assad told visiting Russian MPs that he is counting on Russia to prevent further Israeli attacks on Syrian soil and to help Damascus avoid a full-blown conflict with Tel Aviv."

Very interesting development. Russian jews in Israel will have a split loyalty in this and I belive that is why Israel has been rather quiet in the matter (except for running the Wahabi medical corps). Open hostilities with Russia would probably represent a domestic problem as well.

This has become interesting how quickly it flared up.

Jews who have fled Russia to live in Israel have no loyalty or love for Russia at all. Maybe some Family members who are still in Russia but not for the nation or government. Israel will have a hard time if they get to testy with Russia. I see the Gog Magog war prophesies in the bible never seem to go away just when you think they can. The problem is, the fuse has already been lit, when Turkey goes full terrorist state and loses all NATO help is when it fully erupts. Any day we can see that happen.

I didn't know that poll had been done actually. I was quoting russian jews I talked to. Hearsay. They didn't "escape" Russia, though. From what I understood, they still own some part of it.

I have read the epic of Gilgamesh.

I wouldn't know. Several yobi-bytes of data pr. person multiplied by the number of persons in a culture quickly becomes too complicated. I can understand how Spengler had to be a mathematician.

You might be right, though. The original "Turks" in the capitol Miklagarðr, would certainly agree to the dangers, were they around.
