It’s Farsi it seems and by all accounts seems to be accurate. Now what it’s attempting to do is unknown. Could just be a desperate feint or it could be activating sleeper cells.

Although early reports present signal propagation characteristics compatible with transmissions from the Middle East, some multilateration and direction-finding results suggest that the transmissions may originate from outside Iran, and closer to the Red Sea.

I **think** it serves one of 2 purposes.

• Messages going into to Iran to communicate to clandestine anti-regime assets there (aligns with the Priyom observation above that the transmitter is outside Iran)
• Messages leaving Iran to communicate to clandestine pro-regime assets in Europe (since the signal seems to be quite audible in Italy, Greece, perhaps the Netherlands)

7910 kHz is now being jammed, possibly by an Iranian bubble jammer. That possibly suggests the broadcast is external to Iran targeting anti regime assets in Iran. Priyom also notes that the frequency is now being jammed (V32 › Priyom.org).
