Chinese have been retrofitting roll-on/roll-off ships for military use for give or take five years. The Chinese Type 071 amphibious transport can reach the West coast on one tank of fuel. Is this needed for Taiwan?

Different but not new as they have already converted cargo ships to carry missile launchers on top levels and vehicles,equipement and soldiers aswell. I wouldn't be surprised to find out tankers have been converted aswell. I don't see this being prepared for taiwan use at all. Other country-countries yes absolutely. I suggested this years ago and was laughed at.
Yet here we are. SURPRISE Their large passenger planes can remain unchanged
