Oil leaking from the grounded Caroline Bezengi has reached Oman’s mainland coast.
Satellite analysis estimated the slick at more than 2,000 square kilometers, with up to 40 kilometers of coastline potentially affected. The sanctioned tanker carried an estimated 800,000 barrels of Russian crude and continues leaking.
