RAF Poseidon ZP801 appears to be returning to Lossiemouth after more than 8 hours in the air. Meanwhile, a second Poseidon, ZP805, departed Lossiemouth at 22:29 BST and is heading northeast. This follows another late-night RAF Poseidon mission yesterday. Could be related to ongoing exercises, but the late-night and general timing increases the possibility of sustained maritime surveillance. No specific Russian submarine activity has been confirmed.
