Yeah, you are probably right. Still, the US gov. has got in bed with some really shady characters in the past though. I wouldn't put it past them to try to turn prigozhin.

We have purges every president because people don't get along. Nobody wants the opposing party to hold power in their offices. There's a reason why people get demoted/moved to lesser operations and get pissed and leak info.

I think it was the CIA or straight up us special ops. If you look at how all of this crunches together especially the briefing this is beginning to add up especially with Russia making these statements.

It was likely CIA : SAD or Army Delta. But call me a conspiracy theorist till confirmed. I'm just saying this entire situation is weird.


If dude knew he could kill Putin why stop?

Did he stop because he knew that it wasn't the Rus gov that bombed him? At that point he already knew he was fucked so why not keep going unless it was an honest mistake?

Possibly a purge in the Putin cabinet, crackdown on dissenters and open season on conscripts who fail to report? Vladimir Vladimirovich has to get the people to fear him, again. Methinks that his reign might come to an end, soon.
 
So I think there was proof it wasn't Russia and that's why pro stopped..I think he was so rage filled he wouldn't listen to Rus so they needed an intermediary
 
What really bothered me is that U.S. had all Ohio-class nuclear submarines in possession sortied out at seas days beforehand Wagner action, first time in their service history. These submarines are the Damocles's sword over Russia's head - the part of the nuclear forces that is purpoced for decapitating and de-nuclearizing first strike on Russia.
Also these suspicions movements of troops to shores, they were saying "as a part of special operations agains Mexico cartels".
U.S. might've known something is coming.

Probably a coincidence but it makes for a good story.

My point has been, if the CIA says "they knew", whether it was true or not, analytical skill or dumb luck, just the mere fact that the reports are out there feeds the Russian belief that we are out to get them. I therefore see Russian intelligence connecting some dots between "the CIA knowing" and "the CIA directly contributing," whether true or not.

I personally would hope like hell the CIA or any of the five eyes has informant sources inside Wagner. Informant is a long way from influence though

It’s entirely possible their was a an informant. And if the US thought a possible coup or coup-light were in the offing.
Again I’d be pissed off as a citizen of the US if all of our serviceable boomers weren’t at sea and on station.
If China and Russia were seeing a real and significant armed uprising taking place in the US they would both be on full alert as well.

I have no idea what’s going on in Russia and Belarus regarding Wagner.
I believe this incident was real and not a “psyop”. Prigozhin could have been motivated by greed of frustration with how the war is going.
It doesn’t really matter thou. It has created a escalation risk factor in Russia Europe and the US.
So we will see.
