If the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy carry out strikes on Iran, part of the Iranian missile inventory will likely survive the first wave.

And the buildup continues.
The transfer of air-defense assets and other military equipment to the Middle East continues tonight, with a U.S. Air Force C-17A Globemaster lll (RCH1878) and a C-5M Super Galaxy (RCH8030) both originating from Osan Air Base in South Korea, crossing Europe heading towards U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM). While another C-5M arrived from the U.S. at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, before likely continuing on to the Middle East. Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei called the country’s nuclear program “a symbol of national will and the result of the Iranian people’s persistence and innovation.”

“This domestic technology is now serving the country’s progress, development, and scientific strength,” he wrote on Twitter Wednesday.

Iran State Media:

The Ham Mihan newspaper criticized those who continue to call for avoiding negotiations, arguing that they will be useless and will not resolve the crisis. It stated that the majority of the Iranian people today support and demand negotiations. The newspaper asserted that an internal party is actively working to thwart the negotiations and bring them to a dead end..

Larijani, advisor to Khamenei: "We see no path forward in the Oman negotiations...we are not going to scale back our nuclear activites. There is a significant gap between Iran's demands and those of the United States. We don't see a clear outcome emerging from these negotiations."

⚡️RECAP⚡️

📌The US State Department confirmed that the scheduled meeting between the United States and Iran in the Sultanate of Oman on Saturday will determine Tehran's seriousness, and warned that Tehran's expulsion of IAEA inspectors would be "an escalation and a miscalculation."

📌In response to a question about whether the talks would be limited to those planned for Saturday, State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce said: "I think what happens on Saturday will determine whether there are more. Right now, this is a scheduled meeting. It's not part of a broader plan or framework. It's a meeting to determine the seriousness of the Iranians," according to Reuters.

📌Bruce also warned that "the threat of such action is certainly inconsistent with Iran's assurances regarding its peaceful nuclear program," adding that "expulsion of IAEA inspectors from Iran would constitute an escalation and a miscalculation on Iran's part," according to Agence France-Presse.

📌An advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned on Thursday that Tehran could take "deterrent measures" that could include "expulsion" of IAEA inspectors if threats against Iran continue, ahead of talks with the United States.
